Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with residential and commercial plumbing installations
- Learn to diagnose and repair pipe leaks, clogs, and fixture issues
- Perform drain cleaning, water heater maintenance, and basic pipe fitting
- Ensure compliance with Michigan plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Maintain clean job sites and organize tools/equipment
- Participate in weekend emergency plumbing call-outs as needed
- Complete training modules to advance to lead plumber status
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work weekends (Sat/Sun) with occasional holidays
- Strong work ethic and commitment to learning new skills
- Basic hand tool knowledge preferred but not required
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Customer service mindset with professional communication skills
