Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with residential and commercial installations
- Perform pipefitting, fixture repairs, and drain cleaning under supervision
- Read blueprints and technical schematics for plumbing systems
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain clean job sites
- Use diagnostic tools to identify plumbing issues
- Complete service reports and maintain inventory of tools/materials
- Adhere to Ohio plumbing codes and safety regulations
Qualifications
- No prior plumbing experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to complete paid apprenticeship program
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Columbus
- Background check and drug screen required
