Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) with proper safety protocols
- Construct scaffolding, temporary structures, and concrete forms
- Perform demolition, debris removal, and site cleanup
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company quality control
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred
- Proficient with power tools and construction equipment
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
