Job Description
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as Electrician Apprentices for our weekend shift operations in Austin, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for those with little to no experience to learn from industry veterans and kickstart a stable, well-paying career in the skilled trades.
At Apex Electrical Solutions, we believe in training our own. You will be exposed to real-world scenarios, safety protocols, and the latest electrical installation techniques.
Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Shadow and support licensed electricians on residential and commercial job sites during weekends.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize tools, wire, and equipment efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Help prepare job sites by clearing debris, setting up ladders, and ensuring work areas are safe.
- Installation Support: Help with basic wiring tasks, mounting outlets, and fixture installations under supervision.
- Tool Maintenance: Keep personal tools and work areas clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Documentation: Assist in logging time and materials as required by project managers.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We provide on-the-job training for candidates eager to learn.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must be willing to travel to various job sites within the Austin area.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with measurements and basic arithmetic.
- Team Player: A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively with a crew.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
