Responsibilities
- Perform site preparation, excavation, and material handling with precision
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades on active job sites
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and adhere to OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and follow verbal/written instructions from supervisors
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment daily
- Complete daily safety checklists and report hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid Minnesota driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction equipment
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with daily reporting
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Ability to work in all weather conditions with appropriate PPE
