Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators on diverse construction sites
- Prepare sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and securing materials
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) following safety protocols
- Read blueprints and interpret instructions from site supervisors
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and comply with OSHA standards
- Load/un construction materials and operate light machinery (forklifts, excavators)
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience in commercial/residential projects
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of Seattle building codes and safety regulations
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong teamwork ethic and punctuality
