Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, loading/unloading materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation, framing, and finishing work
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA safety standards
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute construction plans accurately
- Operate heavy equipment like excavators and forklifts with proper certification
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Report safety hazards and maintain daily equipment maintenance logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor or related experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
