Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling with heavy machinery
- Construct foundations, frames, and structural components per blueprints
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy equipment (forklifts, excavators)
- Perform concrete finishing, masonry work, and installation of building systems
- Adhere to OSHA standards and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers)
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and safety compliance
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial/construction labor experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Proficiency in power tools and construction equipment operation
- Strong understanding of construction safety protocols
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and overtime
