Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, grading, and foundation work using heavy machinery
- Install and remove construction site safety barriers and signage
- Operate power tools including jackhammers, saws, and pneumatic equipment
- Assist carpenters and masons with material preparation and layout
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic preventative maintenance
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company quality standards
- Document daily progress and material usage in project logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Experience with concrete forming and rebar placement
- Basic blueprint reading skills
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
