Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, excavators, forklifts) with precision
- Assist carpenters and masons with layout, framing, and finishing work
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Inspect and maintain tools/equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain project timelines
- Document daily progress and report site issues to supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience required
- OSHA 30-hour certification strongly preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and basic equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and flexible schedule
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
