Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including excavation, demolition, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (e.g., saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Assist skilled tradespeople with carpentry, concrete work, and structural assembly
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans
- Assist in material inventory management and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic understanding of construction tools, materials, and techniques
- Strong work ethic with punctuality and reliability
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
