Responsibilities
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, site prep, and equipment operation
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols on all job sites
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs) and physical labor in varied weather conditions
- Operate hand/power tools and machinery under supervisor guidance
- Contribute to site cleanup and debris management daily
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from project leads
- Report hazards and maintain organized tool/material inventory
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid O-10 construction certification preferred
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Proficient with basic hand/power tools (hammers, saws, drills)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Duval County
- Strong work ethic with punctuality and attendance focus
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Team player with clear communication abilities
