Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradespersons with site preparation, framing, concrete work, and finishing tasks
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate task execution
- Operate light machinery like forklifts and trenchers (certification provided)
- Collaborate with diverse teams to meet project deadlines efficiently
- Report maintenance needs for equipment and tools
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or equivalent physical work background
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (training available)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily
