Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and material handling at construction sites
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision (e.g., shovels, saws, drills)
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation and cleanup
- Maintain safe work practices and adhere to OSHA guidelines
- Read basic construction plans and follow supervisor instructions
- Transport materials and equipment using carts, dollies, or forklifts (training provided)
- Complete daily task logs and report equipment issues
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for night shifts (5 PM - 1 AM)
- No prior experience necessary – full training provided
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
