Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems according to blueprints and safety standards
- Diagnose electrical faults using specialized testing equipment
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Collaborate with contractors and clients on project specifications
- Manage electrical projects from conception to completion
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used
- Train junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Louisiana electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Proficiency with reading blueprints and technical schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
