Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Diagnose plumbing issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Perform pipefitting, fixture replacements, and water heater installations
- Ensure compliance with Michigan plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Provide emergency plumbing services during after-hours and weekends
- Maintain accurate service records and inventory of materials
- Train apprentices on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Master Plumber license (required)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on plumbing experience
- Proven expertise in pipefitting, drain cleaning, and fixture repair
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations
- Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in confined spaces
