Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including excavation, demolition, material handling, and site cleanup
- Operate construction equipment safely (e.g., jackhammers, saws, drills) under supervision
- Assist skilled tradespeople with carpentry, concrete pouring, and framing work
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain organized job sites
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Transport materials using carts, dollies, and manual lifting techniques
- Participate in daily team briefings and progress meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction or related labor experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
