Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and material handling on residential/commercial sites
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled tradesmen with framing, demolition, and site preparation
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and comply with OSHA safety standards
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute project specifications
- Transport materials using wheelbarrows, forklifts, or trucks as needed
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with minimal supervision
- Basic math skills for measuring materials and inventory
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required
