Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, carrying materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with site preparation and cleanup
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from supervisors
- Maintain a safe, organized job site and adhere to OSHA standards
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) after proper training
- Assist in demolition, excavation, and concrete pouring tasks
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic math skills for measurements and material estimates
- Strong teamwork ethic and punctuality
- Pre-employment drug screen required
