Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand tools
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation, demolition, and cleanup
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized job site while adhering to OSHA standards
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, concrete saws) with proper training
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Complete daily progress reports and time tracking accurately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance policy for drug use
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (company-provided)
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours per day on uneven terrain
- Team player with clear communication skills
