Responsibilities
- Excavate and prepare construction sites using hand/power tools
- Load/unload materials and equipment safely
- Operate machinery like forklifts and jackhammers
- Assist skilled tradesmen with framing, plumbing, and electrical tasks
- Maintain clean, organized work areas per OSHA standards
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Follow strict safety protocols and reporting procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 2 years construction/labor experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Experience operating construction machinery
- Basic math and measurement skills
