Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, with various construction tasks.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently, including saws, drills, and levels.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site.
- Prepare and clean job sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, plans, and specifications under supervision.
- Perform general site maintenance and support daily operations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Experience in construction or general labor is a plus but not required.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and team collaboration.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and material estimation.
