Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and construction tasks
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (e.g., saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow OSHA safety protocols
- Perform general site cleanup, debris removal, and waste management
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Assist in setting up temporary structures, scaffolding, and safety barriers
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment operation
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and hazard awareness
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and flexible schedules
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
