Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling, excavation, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, levels, etc.)
- Follow OSHA protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Read blueprints and execute tasks per project specifications
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Perform concrete work, framing support, and demolition as needed
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction/labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme heat conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Strong work ethic with punctuality and accountability
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily
