Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential properties
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and Virginia state regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Lead teams on large-scale industrial projects
- Maintain detailed project documentation and safety records
- Train apprentices on industry best practices
- Coordinate with contractors and building management
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of licensed electrical experience
- Valid Virginia Journeyman or Master Electrician license
- OSHA 30-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Expertise in residential, commercial, and industrial systems
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Proven safety record with no major violations
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
