Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with contractors/clients
- Maintain detailed service reports and documentation
- Train apprentices on safety protocols and best practices
Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee electrical license (or reciprocity-ready for Georgia)
- 5+ years of hands-on electrical experience
- Proven expertise in residential/commercial wiring, installations, and repairs
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work flexible hours including emergency calls
