Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Follow strict safety protocols (NFPA 70E) and OSHA standards
- Assist senior electricians with conduit bending, wiring, and equipment assembly
- Diagnose electrical issues using test equipment (multimeters, voltage testers)
- Document work progress and maintain accurate service records
- Participate in ongoing training programs to develop technical expertise
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- No prior electrical experience required – we train from the ground up!
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across New Orleans metro
- Willingness to obtain Louisiana electrician license (company-sponsored)
