Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in compliance with local and national codes
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards and ensure safety
- Diagnose malfunctions using testing devices and repair or replace wiring, fixtures, and components
- Collaborate with contractors, clients, and team members on project timelines and specifications
- Prepare and maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and compliance with regulations
- Train and mentor junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
- Stay updated on industry advancements, technologies, and code changes
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid California Electrician Journeyman License or equivalent
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with hand/power tools, diagnostic equipment, and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and drug screening
