Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques
- Lead small crews and mentor junior electricians on complex projects
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and project managers for seamless execution
- Document work progress and maintain accurate service records
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 4 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA 70E, and local building codes
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
