Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/residential settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting methods
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with contractors/clients
- Maintain safety protocols and conduct equipment inspections
- Train apprentices on best practices and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Florida electrician license (or reciprocity for Georgia applicants)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Experience with commercial or industrial systems preferred
