Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, and California Title 24 standards
- Manage inventory and order materials for assigned projects
- Mentor junior electricians and ensure safe work practices
- Perform system upgrades and energy-efficient retrofits
- Document work orders and maintain client relationships
Qualifications
- Valid California Electrician Journeyman License (required)
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and multimeters
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- California driver's license with clean record
- Flexibility for on-call emergency shifts
