Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure all work complies with NEC and Virginia state electrical codes
- Diagnose electrical faults using test equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Manage projects from estimation to completion with minimal supervision
- Maintain clean, safe work environments and proper tool maintenance
- Train junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 4 years of verifiable electrical experience
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local building codes
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
