Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential properties
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications to ensure precise installations
- Conduct system diagnostics and troubleshooting using advanced testing equipment
- Adhere to all NEC codes and local regulations for compliance
- Lead project teams and mentor junior electricians on best practices
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely completion
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Journeyman Electrician license
- Minimum 4 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency with conduit bending, wiring, and circuit installation
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and safety protocols
- Ability to read complex electrical schematics and blueprints
- Physical stamina for climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license with clean record
