Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial facilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting on complex electrical circuits
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA, NEC, and California Title 24 regulations
- Manage inventory and order electrical materials for project completion
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during emergency and scheduled outages
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and system changes
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid California Electrician Journeyman License (required)
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools (multimeters, clamp meters, etc.)
- Strong understanding of NEC and local electrical codes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina for climbing ladders, confined spaces, and heavy lifting
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability for night shifts
