Responsibilities
- Design and execute the 2026 innovation strategy, identifying emerging tech opportunities in quantum, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and product managers to prototype future-ready solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning and market analysis to anticipate technological disruptions and competitive shifts
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global innovation labs
- Present innovation roadmaps to C-suite executives and investors, securing buy-in and resources
- Establish ethical frameworks for emerging technologies, ensuring responsible development and deployment
- Drive sustainability integration into all innovation pipelines, aligning with net-zero 2030 goals
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, product development, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Proven track record launching at least two breakthrough technologies or market-defining products
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: quantum computing, generative AI, or circular economy systems
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data into actionable strategies
- Experience managing $5M+ innovation budgets and cross-functional teams across 3+ continents
- Published thought leadership in innovation journals or industry whitepapers
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) or technology management a plus
