Responsibilities

- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) for strategic integration
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into patented IP and commercial products
- Present strategic recommendations to board members with data-driven impact assessments
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory changes affecting innovation landscapes
- Build internal 'futurist' capabilities through training and thought leadership programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategy, Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years in strategic planning with proven 5-year+ foresight implementation
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Proficiency in AI-driven forecasting tools and data visualization platforms
- Track record of launching game-changing products/services in competitive markets
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., APF, WFS) preferred
- Exceptional storytelling ability to articulate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Experience scaling innovation in regulated industries (healthcare/finance/tech)
