Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and execute the technical roadmap for 2026, aligning AI capabilities with long-term business objectives and emerging market trends.
- System Architecture: Design and oversee the implementation of scalable, distributed AI systems capable of handling next-generation data volumes.
- Ethical AI Governance: Establish frameworks for responsible AI, ensuring fairness, transparency, and safety in all deployed models.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Mentor senior engineers and collaborate with product teams to translate high-level vision into technical specifications.
- R&D Leadership: Spearhead research initiatives to explore frontier technologies, keeping Nexus Horizon at the cutting edge of innovation.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously refine and optimize existing neural networks and machine learning pipelines for efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within AI or Machine Learning.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Technical Expertise: Deep proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and distributed systems architecture.
- Strategic Vision: Proven track record of defining technical visions for multi-year product lifecycles.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Certifications: Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) and AI ethics training are a plus.
