Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap Planning: Define and execute the technical vision for the 2026 era, identifying key technologies (AI, Quantum, Edge Computing) to integrate into our core infrastructure.
- System Architecture: Design robust, scalable, and secure architectures that can handle exponential growth and evolving data requirements.
- Technology Evaluation: Conduct deep-dive research and proof-of-concept (PoC) development for emerging tech stacks to determine feasibility and competitive advantage.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate high-level business goals into actionable technical strategies.
- Disruption Management: Monitor global tech trends and regulatory shifts to proactively adjust our architectural approach and mitigate risks.
- Mentorship: Guide junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership or strategic planning capacity.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and modern programming languages (Go, Rust, or Python).
- Visionary Mindset: Demonstrated ability to think beyond current limitations and anticipate future technological shifts.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Problem Solving: Strong track record of solving ambiguous problems with innovative, scalable solutions.
