Responsibilities
- Architect and lead R&D initiatives for 2026-era technologies including quantum AI integration and decentralized systems
- Drive innovation sprints to prototype breakthrough solutions in sustainable computing and neural interfaces
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align tech strategy with market forecasts and emerging trends
- Mentor cross-functional teams in agile development of futuristic prototypes
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders for cutting-edge research
- Translate technical breakthroughs into actionable business opportunities with clear ROI projections
- Lead patent development for proprietary technologies targeting 2026 market readiness
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation leadership with proven success in emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, or AI ethics frameworks
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier journals on future-tech topics
- Portfolio demonstrating commercialization of at least two breakthrough technologies
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding from government/private sources
- Proficiency in futures forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Strong background in scaling tech teams from 10 to 100+ personnel
