- Develop and execute the company's 5-year innovation roadmap with focus on 2026 technology horizons
- Lead ideation sessions and hackathons to generate breakthrough concepts
- Manage a $5M+ R&D budget with ROI-driven project prioritization
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation team of 8-10 specialists
- Partner with venture capital firms to identify disruptive acquisition targets
- Represent Nexus at global tech conferences and industry summits
- Drive patent strategy and intellectual property portfolio development
- Champion agile methodologies for rapid prototyping and validation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record of launching award-winning products/services
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or space tech
- Strategic MBA or advanced degree in Engineering/Computer Science
- Experience scaling innovation from concept to commercialization
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Exceptional cross-cultural communication and stakeholder management
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CMI)
