Responsibilities
- Architect strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech integration) with 5-year implementation horizons
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D teams of 15+ engineers, data scientists, and futurists
- Develop ethical frameworks for next-gen AI systems ensuring alignment with human values
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation grants from DARPA, NSF, and private sector partners
- Establish industry-first standards for sustainable tech deployment in 2026 ecosystems
- Present breakthrough innovations at global forums like Web Summit and TED Tech
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or related field with 8+ years R&D leadership
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE) on emerging tech
- Proven track record scaling tech innovations from lab to market ($50M+ impact)
- Expertise in AI ethics frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF) and quantum computing architectures
- Experience securing federal grants and managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Fluency in at least one quantum programming language (Qiskit, Cirq) and Python
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ disruptive technologies commercialized in the last 5 years
