Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy aligned with long-term business objectives
- Identify, analyze, and prioritize emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) for commercial application
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating futuristic solutions through rapid experimentation
- Build strategic partnerships with leading research institutions, startups, and industry consortiums
- Create compelling technology roadmaps and investment proposals for executive leadership
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes to maintain first-mover advantages
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of innovation across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching products/services based on emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of these domains: AI, quantum computing, advanced robotics, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional analytical and systems-thinking capabilities with data-driven decision-making
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $1M annually
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., from Institute for the Future) highly valued
