Responsibilities
- Lead the 2026 Vision: Define and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap for 2026, aligning technical capabilities with long-term business goals.
- Emerging Tech Strategy: Scout, evaluate, and prototype emerging technologies (e.g., Generative AI, Quantum Readiness) to ensure Nexus remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Technical Architecture: Design robust, scalable system architectures capable of supporting the complex demands of future global applications.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and inspire a high-performance engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and secure buy-in for bold, forward-thinking projects.
- Risk Management: Identify potential technological pitfalls in upcoming projects and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth delivery.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, product management, or a related technical leadership role, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership capacity.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven track record of defining product roadmaps and leading teams through large-scale technological transformations.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of modern web technologies, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and data engineering principles.
- Innovation Focus: Demonstrated ability to identify and leverage emerging trends (AI, Blockchain, Edge Computing) to drive business value.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
