- Lead innovation labs to prototype breakthrough solutions for emerging markets
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year adoption cycles
- Develop go-to-market strategies for next-gen tech products with $10M+ revenue potential
- Partner with venture capital firms to scout and acquire promising deep-tech startups
- Present strategic recommendations to board members with data-driven investment cases
- Build and mentor a team of futurist researchers and technology architects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or venture innovation
- Proven track record launching products with exponential growth curves
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on innovation
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to articulate complex technical visions
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding or venture capital for tech initiatives
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight methodologies preferred
