Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen tech solutions
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AI ethics, AR/VR) to identify competitive advantages
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants and partnerships for experimental projects
- Mentor junior strategists and present vision to executive stakeholders
- Drive adoption of sustainable tech practices across product lifecycle
- Establish KPIs for measuring long-term tech impact and ROI
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products (quantum/AI/AR preferred)
- Expertise in technology forecasting and scenario planning methodologies
- Strong network with academic research institutions and tech innovators
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (required)
- Experience securing R&D funding from government/private sources
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/Java/C++)
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
