Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in emerging domains (quantum AI, neural interfaces, sustainable tech)
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate futuristic technologies into core product ecosystems
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis for breakthrough opportunities
- Manage innovation sprints with engineering, design, and data science teams
- Present strategic visions to investors and industry thought leaders
- Drive patent strategy and IP development for novel technological concepts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching at least two industry-disruptive products
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or Technology Forecasting preferred
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding for experimental projects
- Prior work with Fortune 500 tech ecosystems or Silicon Valley startups
