Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution and emerging scientific breakthroughs
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling disruptive technologies (quantum AI, neuromorphic computing)
- Conduct horizon-scanning analysis of geopolitical, regulatory, and ethical implications of emerging tech
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) and government innovation labs
- Present technology strategy to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven impact projections
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation methodologies
- Author white papers on future tech trends for industry publications and policy summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in scaling AI/ML systems to enterprise-level deployment
- Deep expertise in quantum computing architecture and error correction protocols
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent peer-reviewed publications
- Experience with technology foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Security clearance eligibility (preferred) or experience in regulated tech environments
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust, Q#) and cloud-native architectures
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing audiences at Davos or similar forums
