We are looking for a visionary Future Tech Strategist to lead our R&D roadmap through 2026 and beyond. In this pivotal role, you will define the technological trajectory for our next-generation products, bridging the gap between emerging AI capabilities and real-world application. You will work closely with C-suite executives to forecast industry trends and architect solutions that position Apex Innovations as a market leader. This is not a standard engineering role; it requires a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic foresight.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the technical roadmap for key initiatives leading up to and including the 2026 product launch cycle.
- Analyze emerging technologies (e.g., Generative AI, Quantum Readiness) to identify strategic opportunities for competitive advantage.
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate high-level business goals into actionable technical specifications.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to ensure architectural alignment with long-term strategic visions.
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory changes to mitigate risks and seize new market opportunities.
- Present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a compelling and clear manner.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field; PhD preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering, product management, or strategic consulting.
- Proven track record of leading innovation initiatives and delivering products ahead of market expectations.
- Deep understanding of AI/ML architectures and their implications for future computing paradigms.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership without direct authority.
