Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year tech roadmaps aligning with market disruptions and 2026 industry forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum algorithms, neuromorphic AI, etc.)
- Identify and prioritize emerging technologies with $1B+ market potential
- Establish strategic partnerships with academia, government labs, and Fortune 500 innovators
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive R&D investments toward breakthrough innovations with measurable ROI
- Anticipate geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting tech deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, AGI ethics, or climate tech
- Proven track record of launching technologies with $50M+ market impact
- Advanced degree in CS, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE/Nature journals or equivalent
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) or venture capital >$10M
- Fluency in strategic frameworks (TRL, SWOT, scenario planning) for 2026+ horizons
