Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints exploring breakthrough technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis for emerging tech domains
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build and manage a network of industry futurists and academic partners
- Drive adoption of agile methodologies for long-term tech planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching at least two future-tech initiatives
- Deep expertise in emerging tech ecosystems (quantum, AI, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Experience securing $1M+ in innovation funding or grants
- Strong presentation skills for executive and investor audiences
- Portfolio showcasing future-tech thought leadership (whitepapers, patents, or keynotes)
